John L. Lengemann
Our Senior partner has been with the firm since 1968. A native of Imlay City, he graduated from Imlay City High School before attending the University of Michigan and Wayne State University Law School, where he received his law degree Magna Cum Laude in 1968. John's recent "Citizen of the Year Award" from the Imlay City Chamber of Commerce sums up his many years of active involvement in the community. From coaching basketball to serving as President of Rotary, the Lapeer County Bar Association, and the Imlay Area Chamber of Commerce, John has had a lifetime of positive impact on our community.
Mr. Lengemann's legal experience is as diverse as his community involvement and spans 34 years of practice in almost all areas of law. Recently, he achieved a favorable resolution of a traumatic brain injury case with an award in excess of $1 million as well as a toxic waste death case which awarded his client over $2 million.

Sally A. Miller
She is an expert in the areas of child custody and family law and also handles adoptions, juvenile law, business law and civil litigation. Prior to joining MLM, she gained much valuable experience by working as a research attorney for Judges Higgins, Holowka, and Clements in the Lapeer County 40th Circuit Court. She has served the Lapeer County Bar Association as President. Together with her Law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she earned academic and other awards, and an undergrad degree in Public Admin./Political Science from the University of Michigan, she is a highly trained professional able to handle the complex and changing legal needs of our clients.
