Biography
Nick Lanza is a civil trial lawyer who practices primarily in civil litigation, including the prosecution and defense of individuals and corporations in wrongful death, personal injury, property, and business disputes. Mr. Lanza has earned the highest possible attorney rating (AV) by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Lanza represents parties in complex claims involving wrongful death, commercial trucking, intentional torts, business torts, breach of contract, negligence, the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Texas Insurance Code, products liability, and premises liability. He also represents various professionals under professional errors and omissions liability policies. Mr. Lanza is also involved in insurance coverage-related opinions and litigation involving interpretations of contracts and insurance policies. His clients include families, individuals, insurance agencies, trucking companies, insurance companies, and businesses. Mr. Lanza has successfully taken many complex cases to trial to Judge and jury throughout the State of Texas. Mr. Lanza is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He earned this certification in 1997 and has been recertified each period. Mr. Lanza received his B.A. from the University of Houston in 1986 and his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1989. Mr. Lanza graduated from law school as a member of the Order of the Barristers. Mr. Lanza is also a member of the Texas Association of Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists.
